Duncan Haldane did what he always does on Tuesday mornings

 

 

After finding out that he had been awarded the 2016 Nobel Prize in Physics Duncan Haldane did what he always does on Tuesday mornings. He got dressed and went to work. By 11:00 he was standing in front of a blackboard teaching his first class as a Nobel Prize laureate: "Electromagnetism: Principles and Problem Solving." His students greeted him with cheers and applause.
